Retailers are provided with a complete bureau de change service in their store including electronic exchange rate boards and £5,000 of foreign currency for free. The retailer then pays £0.85 per transaction, and can expect to earn several pounds per transaction. The exchange rates provided are highly competitive, and typically beat the Post Office, the large travel agencies and most high street banks.
