A survey conducted by Hiscox, a leading specialist insurer, has found that most small medium sized enterprises (SMEs) fail to cover themselves against legal action from their employees, with only 18% having cover which protects them against discrimination claims brought by employees.
The majority of SMEs believe business insurance is necessary. The survey found that 10% of SMEs have previously suffered finacially through inadequate cover.
