From September, Arriva customers can buy their local travel tickets in Payzone stores before they travel. This means Arriva customers will have greater choice over where they buy their tickets, and more flexibility as Payzone stores are local and open for longer.
The new service will benefit everyone, and the deal also proves to be cheaper when a ticket is purchased on a Weekly or 4 Weekly basis, rather than daily on the bus, acting as an added bonus for regular users.
Linda Cook, Bill Payments Director at Payzone, says, “The new service will make a big difference to many Arriva customers who prefer to shop locally. By adding this new service Payzone is strengthening its’ product offering to become a “one stop shop” for essential services.”
Mike Woodhouse, marketing manager for Arriva UK Bus, said: "Working with Payzone means it will now be even easier for our customers to buy tickets in advance and help speed up the boarding process. As well as having tickets available from our website, we are the first bus company in the UK to launch a nationwide mobile ticketing service, and our partnership with Payzone provides yet another ticketing option for our customers."
